I took the day off with the hope of pulling my 914 together in time for the 9:14 breakfast, and Dyno Day on Saturday morning, and came oh so close.
The car is basically done, I fit the chrome bumpers, installed all of the trim pieces and cleaned the interior today. However it seriously feels like the brakes need to be bled, one of the tail lights is out, my fog lights did not come in, and my SUV driving friend with my good wheels and tires is the back went MIA for most of the afternoon  Anyway, hopefully I will be driving on Sunday. I was able to back out and take a couple of pictures anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) http://www.itvl.com/porsche/914close/ ~Eric |

You need to say bye-bye to those steel rims and get some Fuchs or 5-lug conversion, but other than the rims the car looks wonderful (love that color) Looks like Riviera Blue (much nicer on a 993 C4S (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) )

Looks good Eric !!
Hope you have better luck than I had. I did yesterday my first test drive after wintter. Looks like I still have a lot to do.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Starting motor doesnt turn my engine any more very well. I will need new very soon :gilloutine: The engine blows big smoke cloud after startting and I hate that... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) The alignment of the driver side door window is PITA..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fighting19.gif) After installation of front bronze bushing there feels to be too toe out and a lot !!! The car is terrible to drive over 60 mph.... :toilet: I hate my 914 ..... |

The fog light grills are not painted, what is in the picture is the body color under the bumper, my fog lights are not in yet, but when they do come in, they will have chrome grills around them.
