Being an insurance broker in California this week is fun. Phone ringing off the hook with stories of driving miscalculations and homes changing zip codes. Another call:
Receptionist says, 'Call for you on 1. It's Jeff Bowlsby' Nice! Not another claim! Jeff is is town on business and has the afternoon off. He drops in, we shoot the breeze for a while, then a quick tour to Paramount Ranch and the Rock Store via Mulholland. Driving conditions interesting with all the runoff, we almost meet a nice young lady talking on her cell phone, but return unharmed. Nice to see you Jeff. And thanks again for WCC 2004. I now know how much work it is. |

Meeting Jeff Bowlsby is as close as anyone can come to meeting 914 folklore.
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) Meeting Karl is like shaking hands with Rainman, during People's Court. M |

You beat me to the post Howard. Thank you for spending time out of your busy day to show me around, on a moments notice.
Let me tell you guys, I received an unscheduled personal 2 hour preview of the WCC from the CEO of the WCC 2005. And Howards party will not be one to miss. I had no idea what Howard was cooking up, becasue of my currently insane work schedule. Now I am enlightened. A Hundred 914s in one place will be insane! SPONSORS The Special Olympics Benefit - these kids will be winners SPONSORS Paramount Ranch and group photo locations SPONSORS Mulholland twisties and The Rock Store SPONSORS Willow Springs Racetrack SPONSORS 914 Prizes and giveaways oh and SPONSORS I will be sending my WCC registration in right away, before the gates are closed. I cant wait you meet you all...and see your rides. As much as we support Pelican Parts they are not going to be there...wazzat all about? Oh Yeah...Howard is REAL...I saw him... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) Danke Mein Freund.... before seeing Howard, I went to see the earliest VIN Creamsicle (14348), soon to be in Vermont: Attached image(s) |
