Just a question about alternator. Does the one lead just go straight to the positive post on the battery? Is the regulator built into the alternator?

The d+ lead goes to the starter and then to the battery +. The regulator is on the relay board. The above assumes that a previous owner has not made changes.

Okay well I had that right then I think. The ring goes to main post on starter and then from there to + on battery. The only other connection I have on starter is yellow lead. Am I missing anything else?

Still nothing. Not even getting power to fuel pump with key on and nothing when I go to start. What else hooks to starter besides alternator lead and yellow wire?
