I've put my latest EFI/ITB hot rod engine project up for sale..............this will push your 914/6 around nicely. regards, al I am asking $13,500 This engine was based on a 2.7 Normal CIS engine, but it is now spec'd out as follows: 2.7RS-ish specifications 7R case 9.5:1 JE pistons Early S-cams TWM/Borla 44mm Independent EFI Throttle body induction (Note: This configuration allows the use of early 911 filter housings, Rain hats etc., like early 911 carb set-ups. Ported to 36/36 M'squirt ECU - fuel control (I buy these from DIY Autotune, completely assembled and tested) Dizzy/MSD spark control (I kept it slightly old-school, but by using a crank trigger/ the M'squirt can trigger the MSD and control the ignition) New bearings, gaskets, seals, Clewett spark plug wires Turbo valve covers time-certs Steel studs Pressurized chain tensioners Note: early air cleaner housing and headers not included. Here's a link to my YouTube channel and a video of the 1st fire/tuning. It is running very strong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWB99lddFew Check out the other videos on my youtube channel and you will see that this is not my 1st engine rebuild, but the next in a never ending series.............I like it. You can also check out my posts on Pelican Parts forums (al lkosmal) I've used Megasquirt for the ECU and have found them to be very well made, versatile and capable ECUs. Please visit the DIY AutoTune website to familiarize yourself with the capabilities of these units. The headers and muffler are not included as they are part of my engine test stand set up. Leak down is very good at 2%-5% and will likely get even better with a little more run time. I will provide a well built complete, enclosed crate for shipping (not just mounted to a pallet) to protect your purchase. The buyer is responsible for arranging the shipping/ transportation, but i will help from my end to ensure that this goes smoothly (I've done this before, both for CONUS and international shipments with no problems at all.) I accept paypal and bank-to-bank wire transfers only. $1000 deposit within 24 hours of buying , with the remainder to be deposited in either my paypal account or made via bank-to-bank transfer within 5 working days. This is a great engine and should provide your 911, 914/6 with the proper moto-vation. If you have any questions or need additional pix, etc, please feel free to ask. regards, al alkosmal@hotmail.com PS: I've sold quite a few engines on Pelican and ebay and it is usually very easy and smooth. That being said, I had this engine sold once already....but the buyer didn't have his finances in order, ignored our agreement, delayed payment for many weeks and basically played silly buggers .............please make sure that you are ready to buy....then it's very easy. Matt,
Yes, the engine comes with the M'squirt and MSD-6a... I'd estimate the power at 225HP or so. regards, Al |
