Does anyone know where to buy spray cans with porsche colors if that is even possible? I have blown the money I had getting it back on road and not ready to blow any more on it at moment and just want to touch up the areas that were affected in rust repair for now. I could always get a sprayer and mix it myself but rather not do that if possible.

One other thought I had is to buy something just close enough to zambezi but alas I am very very very color blind so that is not something I can do. Anyone know of a readily available 'close' color I could get?

The paint job that is on here is terrible anyways and needs to be taken off bad. They did a one stage job with this and filled/painted the seams in front corners under windshield so those are all cracked etc. Dont know what they were thinking but I just want it to look decent for now.

If you have an English Color where you live you can go to them with the color code. Some of the stores have the ability to help. Ask if they can put paint in a spray can. In the DFW area we have one store out of about 8 that can do it. Ask that they make up a pint of color. (About $24) then have them fill the spray cans from that pint they run about $7 per can. I f you need more take the pint back into them and they will do more spray cans at $7 per can. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Nothing like that around New Orleans unfortunately but I suppose maybe I could get them to ship the pint then find someone local to fill a spray can?

AutomoticeTouchup.com has Porsche colors and they sell spray cans, pints, gallons, touch up bottles and other items. I have a Signal Orange car and the match has been excellent. I highly recommend them. I just looked and they do have Zambezi Green

Awesome thanks! I had no idea there were that many green options. I just always assumed it was Zambezi Green (says the colorblind guy). Can anyone confirm that is the case before I order?

This is area to paint

Get some paint and use a Preval sprayer. Cheap and available at Home Depot: http://store.preval.com/?gclid=COir7e3bt8YCFVAkgQodjXwD7g

Realize the paint code is for new paint and the existing paint is no longer new. I'm sure a pro can make it look closer to the existing hue, but realize new and existing paint age differently. Depends on your threshold of OK-ness.

It was originally yellow so that doesn't work either. I am fairly certain its Zambezi so Ill go with that.

I doesn't look like Zambezi Green/ '75 Forest Green to me. I had mine color matched by the paint code and can also attest that the Automotivetouchup spray cans are a good match, but need clear coat over the top to get shiny. Your green looks like a non-stock green.

+1 for automotive touchup site. My brother used them for a spray can on his subaru and it matched perfect. I guess you can't say unless you ordered the same color you want for your porsche, but i was impressed. I want to say he also ordered the primer and clearcoat....that stuff matters. I'll check with him when i talk to him next....I plan to order Olympic Blue in a little while....

I've also had good results with automotive Touchup. I ordered some spray and Touchup paint for my 911 Targa which is Platinum Metallic. I didn't expect a perfect match, but it's quite impressive how closely it matched.

Does Automotive Touchup sell single stage paint? Make sure you don't get two stage needing clear coat.

I've used them for small repairs such as bumper repair that was scuffed on an corner. Color match was respectable and application was also respectable for a small area, but both times I used their spray can products was with two stage. I did purchase a touch up pen for my 911, Guards Red, not a good match.

You have a larger job, plus it looks like it's been re-sprayed before along with aging. Will be curious to see the end result.
