I've got a very nice, original washer bottle available. No cracks or imperfections other than its age.

Asking $450 plus shipping and paypal fees (although a check or money order is no problem).

Thanks for looking.

Mike

Is it worth that price? Probably to the guy that has to have one to complete a Six restoration, but then that seems to be the direction of the going price of 914-6 poker these days. .
in that price range, I'd suggest it would be more suited on EBay than here amongst friends and affectionados. . or a better use on this site would be trading material for some other rare part you need. .
That being said, I really can't find fault with offering it here 1st even though it seems high to most of us, but realistically it will sell for that eventually. . another reason Six's are getting out of sight in prices. . .

Mharmon thank you for posting here first.. A majority of us don't look at evilbay on a regular basis.. And if it does not sell here, do like GaroldSchaefer has said in the past and say that it is going to be on evilbay.

2 ears ago, I never thought some NOS items would go for 500% of 1984 prices.. Just wish, I personally had had the forethought to call Tweeks/automotion and say " how many Hella euro tail lights they has forr $42 and saying "I'll take ALL of them". Better than 401k and CDs...

I personally, want to see posts like this here first. Possibly get a PM for a reasonable offer. And then, if acceptable, take a reasonable number. If I think it should be higher, put a reserve on an eBay listing, and see where the market is

My 2€...

Anybody ever look at making a repro? I have the tank for my car. But it seems like an item that comes up every so often with people wanting to improve their 4.

What are the difference between the -4 and -6?

Notice the new connections for the hoses on the top? No bottom connection. The fill cap is also different; very much a 911 system with a pump.

Mark,
If you are doing the electric washer pump, those people could use one. I'm sure more people would do the conversion if the bottles were available at a reasonable cost as you suggested. The other people would be -6 owner/restorer.

Let me apologize, as this is not my thread. I was looking for more of a reason to buy it.

It is a factory original and they sure aren't making any more.

If I did do anything with these it would be quite some time before I could execute it, and I really should not have stepped on the thread.
Thanks for your understanding.

The -4 bottle works with electric pumps. No need for -6 bottles except for the -6 restorers.

Practically a give away item, unless it's in exceptional 10/10 condition.
