I ran into another issue. I am buying all the new hardware for all the stripped or messed up bolts that I have gotten while taking the motor apart.

I found all of them except for the 3 allen/hex bolts that hold the fan to the motor. 2 of them were stripped and so I had to drill and pull them out.

Do these bolts have a certain name or need to only be threaded at the end (like Stock) or are these just a standard allan/hex bolt?

I searched on pelican, 914rubber, and some of the other "Go To" sites and cant seem to find them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

On a slightly different note.... Do Not Disassemble the FAN. it is a PITA to get back right and be in balance, even if you mark its orientation.

Best to drill the heads off the stripped ones,or maybe drive in a slighty larger inhex socket the hammer blows will free the tension and they should come out.
Replace them with a high tensile capscrew anything from grade 8-10 will be fine.
Are you sure you don't just have a bad valve ,unusual for one cylinder to dump that much compression...unless you have broken rings, was it burning much oil?,just asking cheers
