I found it virtually impossible to get the gun under the sail....Lord knows what it looks like under there.
I'll get at it when I take off the masking for the interior.
Still gotta do the doors, hoods I engine cover. Those are a piece of cake. Thus far I've used about 2/3rds of a gallon.

Nice day for painting, tho....bout 65-70 deg.....lotso bugs, tho.

Runs, drools and bugs will all sand. And you are a very experienced sander!
Looks very good. Color should drop your time at least one second.

I've always wondered about that. I had my first 914 repainted and as I feared they totally screwed that area up. Ho do you do it right? Gotta do it from inside with the window removed?

ps - look real good, JP.

AWESOME!

Yellow is fabulous.

Put the "Carerra" script on the door and it will match my buddy Harry's 911RS.

Eddie

ps: Use a razor blade (single edge) on the runs & drools.

J.P.,

I can't decide what color to repaint my 914 ... Gulf Blue (leave the orange stripe) or yellow ... yours looks soooo good!

Near as I can figure, that's bout the only way to get at it.
I tried using one of the spray bottles thingys but I had to get more than 45 deg with the thing....directions?... what, me read?......paint all over hell when it blasts out the vent......auugghh!. I *think* I can use the bottle thingy with the window out.
