I just got a tangerine side shift linkage and figured, as my side shift console is leaking pretty bad, that I'd pull it to do the needed mods for the linkage and put in new seals at the same time [I'll be doing the speedo drive while the oil's out too.]

I have the seal for the selector rod, but don't have the o ring that goes between the console and the tranny. Is it possible to buy this separately? All I can find is the whole pack of 901 seals for $89.

If not, I'm wondering if I can't just buy the same sized O-ring off ebay or amazon. I mean, an o-ring is an o-ring is an o-ring, right? Or not right?
