I can usually tolerate those but man that yellow one....yikes. Nice side mirror positioning and rear "wing". The yellow interior highlights are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) .

Funny thing. I put one on an undamaged 1973 35 years ago.

When I bought he car someone had driven with no brake pads for so long they had ground completely through the rotors. The fronts were hanging there like donuts.

Just a cheap used car back then.

$5000 "invested" minimum on paint and body and they spend less than $200 on steel rims?

I P/U an uninstalled kit for cheap almost 10 years, at the time I figured it would be a cheap way to fix a beater 914.
Decided I'd never use it so i sold it.

All those cars have been for sale for a LONG time. The red and silver one started off around $15K about half a year ago or thereabouts. At least the seller's down to a more realistic number now, I think around $6K last time I scanned ebay.

I agree with the comment that once these cars were dirt cheap, especially the non- 2.0s. There have been some epic fails with kits on our 914s and those days are winding down....
