My new car is a 1974 1.8, all original L-jet. After cleaning up and going through the engine compartment, I found a group of wires going nowhere. It's three wires wrapped in the gray sleeve which comes out of the main gray sleeve on the passenger side ( see picture). All three wires are white. It appears the PO cut some type of plug off.
I'm hoping Mr Bowsly or another brilliant 914 wiring guru will know exactly what this is and tell my what type of plug to reinstall, and where the hell it plugs in. By the way, the car runs great without it, but I would like to know. Thank you in advance. |

Them 3 wires are for the optional altitude compensator. Forgetaboutthem, just be sure they don't short to the chassis.
