What Car Is Finally Getting The Appreciation It Deserves?

Raphael Orlove

Some cars are wildly heralded before the even hit the showrooms — Corvettes, Ferraris, Corollas (for better or for worse). Some cars never get the attention or the treatment they deserve.

Cars like the intensely cool Porsche 914 were just slow, old, ugly, half-Volkswagens when they were new and for decades after. Now people are starting to see them as quirky cheap midengine sports cars that never were widely loved. They’re going up in value and are becoming increasingly coveted among sports car fans and Porsche-philes.

What other cars never got love in their day, but are starting to now?
