Inspired by the group buy on the hats; I thought I would do my own to get the color combo i wanted. I had a $5 Porsche embroidered hat from the Pomona Swap Meet. Went down to our local mall and found the sticker, graphics, embroidery kiosk. A little conversation and looking through his available fonts...came up with this..

Good job!
Jim, embroidery kiosks are very common at shopping malls and fairs, etc. I think the ones in malls are a franchise. If you bring in your own artwork, they can digitize it for you and embroider it however you want. |

If you just want lettering they can do that pretty easily. There is a huge choice of fonts and they can adjust sizing. Doing a design is much more work. For that they have to set it up...basically programming the needle pin points by tracing a design to produce a solid image.

Porsche was already on the hat when i bot it....i just added 9 l 4...not 9 1 4 and my plate number....using a standard font. From what I know Porsche didn't make a model 9L4 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
