We all had a good time today, it was nice meeting a few new faces and seeing a few people I haven't seen in years!

Luckily I escaped without bringing home any kittens! Those there will fully understand that comment!

I'm sure it was a fun ride home without YOUR kittens!

A six pack of this beer ended up in my ice chest of water and gatorade.

There are some benefits....besides cool cars and good company.

I don't see how it will be physically possible, Mark said he has 4 cars to complete in addition to all the packing for the move.

Thanks for coming out everyone. I'm so happy I got to see so many before I head out.

Yup, 4 cars to finish up before I get to leave in two weeks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yikes.gif)

Quite a few of us who have had cars painted will have the side marker (warts) hole welded up. European vehicles did not have the "warts" and look cleaner to the eye.

That said, it is actually illegal to remove them as it was a US DOT specification. I have never heard of anyone being busted for not having them.

The wiring can be used for the front Euro style turn signals (extra light in the bottom). It is white which is also illegal as in the US side markers are amber. I suppose you could use amber bulbs if available.

In reality, who cares. A majority of the vehicle inspectors or POPOs have no idea of what kind of car they are looking at anyway.

I'm aware of the legalities, preferences, etc... I have no warts on my six & used the wiring along w/ a camp914 kit to make my Euro lenses functional. I would love to remove the warts from my LE but that is a concours no no, which is why I was asking. It looks so much better w/out the warts, but LE's are after all, LE's. To go to all the trouble of restoring one & doing that has got me curious is all. Full conversion to a Euro SL would require a GB engine, different stripes, different headlights, KPH speedo along w/ Euro taillights.

Then the front turn signal lenses are incorrect.
