Well this is the is the Mustang that I have been waiting for since Nov 2004. The sellers screwed around until the first of Feburary, and finally called and said they had four people interested, the four other people said the had already purchased other cars. SO It was mine.
1965 289 V8 automatic,new power top,new radiator, brakes,exhaust. Fun summer time driver.

It's beautiful... definetly a Barrett Jackson possibility (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif)

I can put the top down and throw the golf clubs in the back and I will let Bruce beat next time, but only by one stroke.

I remember when I was stationed in Fallon, Nevada in the early 70s. And a road trip to the ranch was in order. Anyway, they are no longer there. Read on.

Sweet! I've got exactly the same car. Except it's a fastback. And it needs a lot more work than that.

I had a 66 convertable that we shoved a 351 cleveland into. Never lost a race. And I raced it a LOT. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) One of those cars I wish I'd never sold. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Hey Craig,

Nice find. I like Mustang's & have a Mustang running horse logo hanging in the garage. It's a side fender logo that was taken off the 1963 styling studio prototype. The story goes top mgt. didn't think it was the right one and had it replaced by the one on the final Mustang cars. It was supposed to be destroyed and found it's way into someone's pocket. I purchased it from a former employee some years ago. It's beautiful. Made of solid brass & chrome plated.

Tom
BTW
It's not for sale.
