Hi all,

After 13 years of doing of work across half the world, I've gone back to my old job as a Train Driver. My new ride is built by Seimens - the mobile phone makers.

On the plus side, for the first time since 2000, I live in the same country AND city as my 914! (And I'm making enough money to afford my habit!).

Since November, I've been painting the 914 in my Mum's garage, and it's almost done, but for the Driver's door. The bumpers went to the electroplaters for re-chroming today. I'll post a thread on the quick tidy-up that became a restoration soon.

That is the largest multi-coach vehicle driven by any club member! Don't make any wrong turns. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

Sounds like a fun way to feed a teener, look forward to pics!

Oh, and if you here something ringing, might be your train. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Nice, Rick!
Seimens also is a very large manufacturer of X-Ray equipment.
I work in the Cardiac Cath lab and I am an X-Ray tech...use Seimans
units all the time. They make good products!

Can't wait to see the pics of your 914 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
