I'm trying to take the heater control box out so I can clean it, but there are the thick wires that go to the middle and bottom controls that control where the hot and fresh air goes.... I don't get what to do from here. Where do they disconnect? Any help ? Thank you..
Also... while I'm at it, I noticed inside the steering column there are two tubes/hoses that connect to the turn signal and wiper area. One of them is corroded and not connected so, What exactly are these for? |

The hoses are for the windshield washers.
Heater controls: It's been a while, so I'm a little fuzzy. There are three cables that are attached to the top of the control box. I think there is a bracket that bolts it to the bottom of the dash. Remove this bolt and the box will slide out the front of the dash exposing the cable ends. Like I said, it's been a while so I'm sure I omitted something, or got something backwards. Hope this helps. |

Thank you...
I've gotten as far as taking out the bolt and pull the heater console box... Do I just unhook the control cables from the heater console? This seems complicated to put back in, so I am confused on what to do from here. Also.. is there someplace I can buy a replacement hose for the windshield washer system? |
