914, 2.0 Liter four-cylinder engine. $11,999. Upgrades include: Two dual barrel Webber carbs replaced original fuel injection system, NOS Fuchs aluminum wheels, full length Porsche name/reflector below trunk lid, dual performance exhaust, Pioneer stereo, six speakers and big honking amplifier in trunk.

This car has been renewed with $14,000 of recent mechanical repairs (not including repaint and upgrade to Webber carbs) to restore it to excellent running condition. Originally a California Car, it was repainted in original Signal Orange prior to coming to Maine. Once in Maine it went to the shop of a Porsche specialist for the upgrades. Since then it has been garaged all winter, and driven less than 5000 Miles.

Here is my honest rating of condition. Body A- Mechanical B+, Paint B, Interior C

Body: No sig. rust or dings, all body parts straight and true. Black rubber bumpers in excellent condition. All rubber gaskets replaced. New fog lamps. Headlights pop up using electrical motors. Removable top is in excellent condition with all correct latches.
Suspension, Brakes and Tires: Four New Bilsstein shocks. New brake pads, hoses and rotors.
Tires: Four new Dunlop.
Engine: Four cylinder, 2.0 Liters. New heater hoses, new upper engine gaskets, new pushrod tubes and gaskets, carburetors rebuilt, new ignition, new fuel pump, new alternator, new cooling fan. Car has a manual choke and a starter switch retrofitted to the console between the seats. Key is used to turn on power, but not start car.
Exhaust: New high performance dual. New Stainless heat exchangers.
Transmission: Five speed. New Weltmeister shift lockout kit, new shift ball cup bushing, new Weltmeister short shift kit. New driveshaft.
Interior: Original. Vinyl and velour bucket seats, original carpets and door panels with two 1" splits. Padded part of dash has been covered with an aftermarket molded plastic piece. Several toggle switches have been added, but I don't know what these are for, "hyper drive" maybe.
Paint: Repainted outside and inside (trunks, door frames, etc.). Very consistent color among all body panels with no fading- looks really sharp from 5 feet. There are two small chips on the driver side fender and two on drivers door edge- about 1/16" to 1/8"round.
