Did you try calling Venice beach auto body in Venice, California?
They are also Beach Boys racing and might still have some of these parts.

I have a car that was actually built by Beach Boys in the late 80's and it looks like they used channel steel and blended it into the the front and rear flares (930 steel flares). I'm not saying they didn't exist, I just assume that if they had ones for the kits then they would have used them. It really doesn't flow well, i'm glad i didn't foot the bill for the build. This is the only pic I have on my phone, I'm currently on vacation.

Regards'

Jon
