wire colors:
black/purple

green/white
red/black

or would I need to run a positive the solid green wire and a negative to the solid black wire just above the other wires in top pics.

thanks guys.

It's been a while and I don't have the schematic in front of me... I think you need power on the red/black and then pt power on the green/white.

Red/black will need key switched power. the other wires are fast, slow, park for the system. Also make sure you have a good ground to the motor.

thanks.
tried that but no luck.
tapped red/blk to battery, nothing happened.
tapped green/white to battery, small spark.

motor might be bad, think I may have to pull it and try it outside of car.

any other ideas.

got it.

only black/purple that needs power to make wipers move.

got to get better switches.

but like 3m heat shrink connections and my tools, wayteck crimper (not perfect but works well when being real careful to center crimp in right location). lighter works well for shrinking.

the only thing is that with shrouded connections, you need to be sure you got the spade in the connection and not just pushed into the shroud : (

thanks
jim
