So I bought 2 914's. First is a runner and is a faded red 72 1.7 with chrome bumpers and Empi wheels. Solid and the hell hole is in good shape. The second car is not running and looks like it has been ridden hard and put away wet(no pun intended), but is an Orange (Factory) 73 2.0. ===krusty, got stuck on a job til late in Paso, will be by with the $$$ Friday afternoon=== the hell hole is just that and has a hole in the long but is definitely repairabl. Everything, including the Fuch's, is there. Hopefully Kaptain Krusty will get it running in a couple of weeks. Now for the reason that my wife let me get "a" new car. We just bought a new house. Where am I going to put these cars, along with my other 914 project? the house comes with a 4, yes I said 4, car garage. My wife thinks she got one over on me but just wait till she sees me fill that garage up. Think sh will realize she got taken? Will post pics of the cars by the end of the weekend. Oh by the way, house is in sunny California where it never rains???!!!

If she complains, tell her they are small and don't take up much room. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

I see you are in Santa Maria...have you ever been by West Coast Garage? It's run by Captain Crusty aka John Larson...

Mike Z
you have been watching your avatar too much. The car is at West Coast Garage now and Kaptain is going to work on it a little for me to see if we can get it running reletively cheaply. Infact, he is the reason I have that car. It was one of his customers. Not sure what i am going to do with it yet though because I already have a long term project started. What I really need to find is someone familiar with 914's who can do the required panel repair for my project and this car and who is close to me so I do not have to spend a lot on transporting two cars to them. Will also help if they are inexpensive also. Any ideas?
