No, I took mercy on you and besides, you started to tear up when you thought I was going to take a picture so I didnt have the heart. Slits was right, it was fuse number 8, I replaced it last night when I got home and the problem was solved. Thanks Ron!! I just went out for a drive in the white car and it seems to be running pretty good. I will throw a timing light on it and get that set and mess with the idle a little more. I just pulled the Chalon out of the garage to get some work done on it too. Install the front lights and bumper/spoiler and mount the plates so I can drive it to get the alignment done. It appears I have a small antifreeze leak somewhere I need to track down too. Small puddle of antifreeze on the floor under where the car was. Maybe I will fix the fuel pump block off plate leak while I am in there. Make a few adjustments and see if I can take it out for a spin while the weather is good. Looks like it is starting to cloud up now though, so we will see what I can get done. Anyone want to come help out is more than welcome. It will be a pizza lunch day today. |

You haven't set the timing yet (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) that could be the greater part of your high idle. Hmmmmm, the Shalom must be female. And remember A-aron Admin....Dr. Evil has the record for roadside valve cover repairs...in a foreign country too....you have a long way to go grasshopper before we bestow accolades on you. |
