How do these pieces come apart? I can't seem to get the lever off which will then allow me to take the headlight motor out.

Once the nut is off (as it is in this picture) you can just pry the arm off with a screw driver behind it. It is normally tight. But, it will come off. Then you can take the motor out.

+2 on that,the PO didn't do it on my car and it caused me some grief setting the height on one of them.
