Someone mentioned Boat House Grill at 56th/High School Road - couple exits north of Speedway. I've never been. I still think it'd be cool to meet somewhere on Main Street in Speedway but no sense of what it'll be like Saturday

St Elmos steakhouse!

I went to the 500 in 1984. Most boring race ever.
Literally can only see the cars for a split second. They ran turbos that year so you couldn't even hear them go by.

If you want to get historic there's Charlie Browns Pancake and Steak House. My guess is it'll be packed. Right around the corner is Mug N Bun - not for foodies but good basic food, long history with drivers, and was on one of those tv shows about diners. Daredevil or BBQ place are fine with me. Anyone else gonna make it?

I've been to it twice. Saw Mark Donahue back in the day and then the Al Jr. win ....jeez....back in '92...seems like yesterday.

My mom's from Indy.

Need to go again to feel young!

Well....I like to think that's a good thing.

Yes I am....sparked memories seeing the 917/30 at Rennsport V this last year.

I was young....like 13 years old but it was so awesome got me hooked on cars forever.

Anyone up for a 2017 914 Meet Up/Dinner over 500 Weekend?

I missed last year because my car wasn't ready and I ended up working the race.

Anyone coming again this year, or local and wants to do a 914 meet up?
