I have a 71 with paint code indicating Tangerine. The car has been indoors most of its life and now looks like Signal Orange , especially on inner panels, trunk and engine compartment.
My dilema is, I would like to keep original color, but seem to like the Signal Orange much better! I am not a purist, as a LS1 is going in the car. Any input, humor is greatly accepted! Thanks |

Both my boys have Tangerine cars. I think they are prettier than signal orange.
But what do I know? Look up GreatPumpkin here to see Erik's car. |

Tangerine...there's even a song written about it. No one ever wrote a song about Signal Orange.
I jest of course. Both look great. |

Original tangerine. But I prefer Signal Orange myself.

Tangerine. Maybe my favorite 914 color. But, it's your car. Do what makes you happy.
