I found a lot of 10 industrial versions of the the Bosch voltage regulator used in our cars. It differs in the fact that it has larger mounting holes. I think with a longer screw and larger washer the problem is resolved. The other interesting thing is the gromets that come off the relay are perfect replacement mounts for the MPS. See the pictures. The old style relays if you can find them are in the $100+ range. If you can live with the larger hole these are a bargain.
