I have a few that I could cut. How much of it do you need? Just the vent, or the whole cowl from fender to fender.

I am looking for a windshield Cowl. I have a cowl that came with my car. I was able to do small welded repairs to my car(s) and haven't needed this part. It isn't perfect, but is in pretty good shape and can certainly be used to fix the common problems. I'm down in Orange County, but I work in downtown Long Beach, so you'd save on all shipping! I'm thinking $100 as they require a car to be sacrifieced and there's no Resto Designs part avail. |

Thanks for the offers. I went with Mark, as he was just a short drive away. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)

Huhuhu Mark I might need that metal part for the 74 silver we got here. But offcourse ruby914 can take it. Ruby914 got the cowl yesterday. Had a nice talk with him and we talked about some of the different ways to make the repairs to rust in the cowl and top of fender. He's got MIG and TIG, so I'm sure he'll put those skills to use with the part for a nice repair. NdFrigi, you don't need a whole cowl like that. At worst you'd be inserting pieces of sheet metal half the size of a credit card! Gonna be fun watching all the build-offs discover rust and then figure out what to do... |
