Man, this has been a rad project. I can't believe it's finally done. This is the first full restoration I've done where we didn't make any upgrades. Stock 2.0, stock suspension and brakes, just a few tweaks (removed side markers, SSIs, and non-stock muffler).
It's come a long way! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) Attached image(s) |

I've just gotten permission to let the proverbial cat out of the bag.
This LE will not be going to the UK. Wrong ocean! The U.K. Owners have sold it to a buyer in New Zealand! It will be leaving soon for its ocean crossing. For now, after Mark finished it, it has been moved to my smog shop in Sonoma. I had the pleasure of doing a PPI on the car for the New Zealand buyer and it is one of the finest 914's, and possibly the finest LE I have laid eyes on... Buyer thinks it may be the only Creamcicle in NZ! |

There aren't many 914's in NZ anyway let alone one of these,I have been told there is one genuine six and 2 -6 copies (mine included),the rest are 4 cyl ones @ various places up and down both islands. The PO of my car mentioned a few owners that I could contact ,hard car to do here as there are basically no parts around. Ever increasing shipping costs and our weak New Zealand dollar do nothing to help the with oversea's purchase of parts. |
