The speedometer angle drive failed on my sideshift 914/6 conversion. I installed a replacement from my spare transmission and I don't want it to suffer the same failure.

How is angle drive lubricated?

I tried dripping gear lube into the drive. Nothing seemed to be absorbed.

Any suggestions?
