I am hopefully going to start the polishing of my C2 turbo wheels within the next month, and wanted any feedback on whether to clear them with powdercoating, anodizing or just use Zoop. I'm concerned with powdercoat yellowing or discoloring, and the effectiveness of Zoop on a daily driver. Yes I know I could use clear coat paint but as I said these are going on a daily driver so I want as durable and protective a finish as I can get (afford) Thanks to all; and to all, a good night.

My Fuchs are polished/painted with no anododizing or clear coat. I've seen Zoop Seal and it's supposed to be effective for up to 2 years. If you use it, please report back here?

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Hey Scotty--I just got back my cookie cutters from wheel-fix-it, and they told me upfront--leave it natural, and every once in a while hit it with a little mothers mag polish-
They told me--no --beat it into me--that any other method is just not good--cause with the clearcoatings--they get dirty and scratched up and there is not much that can be done about-- when au-naturale--it is nothing but some whistling time to keep them nice-- BY the way--did you get those TQ specs??? |
