This will be my step by step driveway strip and paint thread. This may not be the way everyone will do it, but this is the way I will do mine. If you like it, you can do it this way also. If not, then you can take it to a body shop and pay $3k to $5k for a paint job. You could also do different variations and run the cost up. I will post what I spend on this entire process. Some have said its like hitting your self in the head with a hammer, ok, this will be my first smack in the head.

Is the gray stuff Bondo? I was under the impression Bondo was a peach-ish colour... Though I had a piece of paint fleck off of one of my other cars that had some white crap attached to it that my friend said was Bondo: he's pretty knowledgeable...
It's so cool that you can do that in your driveway, though those paint chips in the driveway make me nervous. I'm no enviro-nut, but I sure wouldn't want that crap getting in the groundwater. I don't know if y'all worry 'bout that sort of thing where you are, but where I'm from, ground water's what you drink! Also gotta watch out for the ducks and coons and whatnot. I'm sure you've got it covered. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif) Cole (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/monkeydance.gif) |
