Hi All:

So I am looking for a pair of speakers, new, that will fit the stock speaker housings. I do not want to modify the housing at all. I am not a big stereo person. The period correct Blaupunkt Frankfurt is going going in my car. I just want it to play if I am sitting somewhere waiting for my wife. Recommendations?
Thanks,
Michael

I was happy with these in both of my 914's you have to install on an angle and only use 2 screws but they work great, as long as you have the screen behind the grill no one will even know:

Somewhere in this forum is a comprehensive post on new speaker install using
PYLE PLSL4602 speakers. I've done mine and is was an easy mount. Not used yet but was a simple install.

I followed 914sixers thread as well, bought the speaker from amazon, have a clean OE look, sound is decent for the price.
