When using these beautiful /4 headers, how are you guys supporting the weight of the exhaust? I'm assuming the boomerang bar won't work for the new system? Best method for supporting the custom fit muffler is to simply extend a small bracket from muffler-to-tailhousing on the transaxle. You can use both (or one) of the existing 8 x1.25mm short studs which are the same support locating points as the OE bracket. Use 1 x .125 " (min) flatbar steel. Yep, that's how it's done. I have a set of MSDS six headers on my car and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. Heck, it's a shame they don't show from the outside they're so beautiful!

Thank you Rob for your positive feedback ! There is usually someone crawling under the 914s to have a look -see on how things are constructed, types of exhaust, etc...just look for spare change under your car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) Marty |

What type of muffler do you recommend with you headers on a 914-4? Do you have any pictures? Thanks. --- Brian
