Just got my notification that I'm not in the Hershey Parade, unless 176 people who are in it right now decide not to go. This is what they said...
Because the Parade was oversubscribed, we applied the Region Procedures Manual (RPM) guidelines and utilized a lottery process driven by random computer-generated numbers to select those were accepted into Parade and to assign positions on the waiting list...
I'm bummed 176!!! This is as bad as being #9 in the final year of the draft lottery, of course Nixon suspended that...
Anybody else get a notice, good or bad? Rgds, Michael

just got the word, i'm number #188; i am not encouraged.

i have signed up to judge 914.6's in the Concours, haven't heard back
on that.

i will still be onsite at key events, and i will still be displaying
works for sale (blatant commercial plug...) in the Goodie Store.

but that gung-ho flat-out effort to have the 911 ready for the events
has pretty much had the air let out.
