Many years ago I bought this Bosch radio install kit on a whim just because I thought it was a cool piece of 914 history. I've had it stashed away in a box since then and just dug it out recently when I came across a post on another forum, someone looking for original 914 speakers.

Anyway, now that I've opened it up and snapped a few pictures I was wondering if anyone here might be familiar with it or might be able to point me in the right direction. Bowlsby's site has a few listed (http://bowlsby.net/914/Classic/Accessories.htm) but none seem to quite match what I've got.

Anyway, here are some pics: https://goo.gl/photos/L7NmNVjifZ1frHJM6

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks

It is for a Motorola Sapphire Radio. The slot is for a ONE year only town and country switch. I do not know the year but it is the rocker type switch, later ones had a simple button. I have a 73 parts car that has this radio in it for this faceplate. I will try and get a picture tonight.

Yes, like 914sixer says it is for a Motorola Sapphire radio with the AM/FM slider switch in front, it will work on any Motorola sapphire that has the town & Country toggle switch above the right tuning knob. The speakers are for the stock speaker enclosures on all 914's and the screen covers fit inside the enclosures. Looks like you have the "U" shaped install bracket and speaker wiring. Very nice!
