Karma buddy I don't know the specifics of what happened, but obviously you're not happy with the transaction. Sorry about that. But what I can offer is my personal experience: I've done business with Mark on more than one occasion and have found him totally above board. Rather than publicly throwing accusations around, I recommend you do your best to work out the disagreement in private like a gentleman. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) These sort of airing laundry posts only cause the poster lose face. Mepstein has been a standup member of this board for some time. His previous actions stand taller than a 5 post member slinging slander. |

If I spent 1600 on a set rims that were clearly misrepresented I would be pissed. I see in the earlier post the buyer asks about negative offset. When wheels arrive they are positive offset rims. That is plainly a misrepresentation. I'm sure the seller is aware of the difference between positive and negative offset.

I did not, and I did try to work it out in private like gentlemen but did not come to an agreement due to lack of communication on the sellers part. |

His previous actions stand taller than a 5 post member slinging slander. Just to be clear...I have been a member on different forums and having 5 posts or 1000 post to your name does not make a person more or less trustworthy. My intention was definitely not just "airing laundry"....I wanted to inform other members of a bad deal that I had experienced for cautionary purposes on future deals. This deal was very simple without any grey area. I purchased a set of wheels that were MISREPRESENTED (wrong offset) which will not work with my application, seller blamed a friend of his who gave him the wrong info that I was provided. Who is at fault? not me...but I'm stuck with them now because I refused to pay 240.00 for shipping at both ends for a sellers negligence. |

You are entitled to your opinion, as am I. I've had multiple positive transactions with him, and he's gone out of his way to help me before. I am confident that others feel similarly. My opinion is that I do not think he is shady at all.
Hopefully you both can figure out a way to come to something resembling an amicable solution. |

Exactly PotterPorsche...I just expected to receive what I was promised for an exchange of 1600 mighty dollars....Oh well, maybe a good deal is headed my way to make up for this bad one. |
