That happens when someone has subscribed to a thread and their mail server is unavailabe for some reason. That bug was fixed in later versions of Invision Power Board.

nope, we had that before ... malformed email addy from one of the members (or missing altogether) will cause the mail server to hick up. but *only* if that person (the one with the crappy email) has subscribed to a thread or forum ... anywho, anyone still getting the error or did i "fix" it ???
