The temp gauge on my 71 has a idiot light at the right side of the gauge.
I found the lamp and fixture missing. Does anyone know the wire color attaches to the light? Do all 914 cars have the idiot light built into the temp gauge? Thanks Gene Happy Thanksgiving!!! |

should be oil pressure light There is a oil pressure light on the left side of the left gauge. Above the oil pressure light is the oil temp gauge. The temp gauge has two wires plus a warning light according to the factory glove box manual. I'm searching for what the fixture (bulb holder) is attached to ground or a hot. I don't know if the light fixture in the gauge is powered by the gauge hot or a separate hot. Thanks |

Above the oil pressure light is the oil temp gauge. That doesn't sound like a Six gauge. See the pic that sixnotfour posted; that is the stock Six gauge. Oil pressure light, alternator warning light, brake warning light, and a blank. (Evidently used for Sporto overtemp warning.) --DD |

+1 sportomatic overtemp warning light. Gauge is actually re-purposed 911 sporto unit. Light was left empty on the 914-6
