I'm local, which yard is it in? I might run over tomorrow. Door sills look blue in the picture. If you exit Alameda off of the 405, swing west and pass 223rd St., throw a high 5 at the intersection...sacred grounds of the once infamous Lions Dragstrip. Where the idea of the rear engine dragster was conceived by Don Garlits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

I'm local, which yard is it in? I might run over tomorrow. Door sills look blue in the picture. If you exit Alameda off of the 405, swing west and pass 223rd St., throw a high 5 at the intersection...sacred grounds of the once infamous Lions Dragstrip. Where the idea of the rear engine dragster was conceived by Don Garlits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) I thought the rear engined dragster was thought up by Garlits as he lay in a hospital bed recovering from having his foot cut in half from an exploding clutch plate... that would have been more than enough incentive for me! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |
