Yes it is..
and I hope it is NO where near as rusted as the race car they sold. Both cars have great paint jobs on them... the race car had more rust repair done to it than any other 914 I have seen EVER. B |

If it is the one from the estate sale in Madison WI. It had turbo problems. But it was a VERY clean car. Original paint too. Too bad the perfect seats were not with it anymore
Was a single owner car until it sold at the sale. I think it is on is 3rd owner now. Brad did you see the estate sale and cars or just hear about them. |

Think about the yellow 914 with the wooden interior that didn't meet reserver at $14K+ and this car at $14.5K. I'd rather have this car for that money...

QUOTE(seanery @ Jun 12 2003, 05:50 PM) to a buyer with a 0 feedback rating (Ferrari-Mark) Which way will that number go? He registered on Ebay less than a month ago and has won over 20K in auctions before this car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) |

WOW! I'd be a little leary if I were the owner. Did you check out the stuff that he bid on and won?
A bunch of sets of wheels for both Porsche and Fiero, brakes, literature, 2 944 turbos, a NA944, 2 Fieros, the 914 turbo....A LOT of stuff! all too recent, too! |

Anyone that bids on PONTIAC FIERO CHROME VALVE STEM CAPS should not be trusted (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Total fake buyer...way too many auctions bid on and all over the board. |

You lose your feedback if you change screennames.

I disagree Britain. You are tracked by your personal information (including credit card info) and that DOES follow you when you change names. You will be given a sunglasses icon like a newbie when you change names, but other info follows.

Actually, he will be keeping the car. His wife e-mailed be about the Orlando get-together. He was going to try and come... damn!
The bidder was a scammer (i.e., deadbeat). |

Ol Mark bought $82,239.69 worth of stuff on Ebay and hasn't paid for any of it.
I feel sorry for the 83 auctions that he ruined. I would think that there may be some sort of fraud attempted here and maybe some of the sellers may have some recourse. |

All you have to do to set up a new eBay account is provide a different e-mail address and you can start all over again. Nobody can trace a connection between the two. I have two valid accounts. Many people who use the eBay discussion boards have 'posting ID's' and it is not possible to find any of the information relating to the buying/selling ID they also use. In the same way you can hide from you past eBay transgressions if you want to. Banned buyers/sellers can come back and would appear to me 'new users' with no past history. |

I'm not sure the bay wants to clean up their site. It could be great, but they don't care for the sellers interest only their cut. Too many ways around the feedback problems and dishonest sellers as well as buyers know them all I'm sure if people thought all auctions were on the up and up many more people would join in.
