One of my co-workers that I sold a Spitfire to is in the Rocky Mountain
Triumph Club. I'm a former member myself (before I turned to 914's). He
told me about the club trip to see Harry Matthews Classic Car Collection
this Saturday morning. I got permission from the guy that organized the
event for some 914 whackos to attend. Anybody interested? Sharon and I
will be going. We're just going to meet them at the facility at 10:00.
Details from the RMTC web page:

RMTC Events page

Saturday, June 14. Harry Matthews Classic Car Collection. We are fortunate to have set up a return visit to this great collection which is located at 5889 Lamar in Arvada. They have a great collection of McLarens, Lotus, and all sorts of other race cars, as well as some nice customs and street rods. Details soon, but we will probably meet at the Gunther Toody's at 58th & Wadsworth for breakfast before proceeding to the museum, which is nearby. If you want to skip the breakfast, meet at the museum at 10:00AM. From 58th & Wadsworth, go east on 58th (Ralston Rd) past Pierce and turn north on Lamar.

Thanks to Tom Di Iulio for suggesting this and to Bob Becwar for setting it up for us.

Hi Mike -
Hows the "wheel"?
That is funny. I was talking to Brant about doing the same thing! I bought my Healy from Mathews, and was discussing an Aston Martin purchase from Greg about 8 months ago. I was pretty sure I wouldn't have a problem getting us a weekend tour.
I have a show on 9 News at 8am - it may be a little tight for me to get there - but the rest of you have to go. It's a spectacular place!
If I dont get there, you guys have a blast. Great to chat with you last Sunday...

Still busted. And painfull. I'll live.

Love to see you make it if you can. I'm pretty sure Brant's in Lamar this weekend. I haven't heard from anyone else yet. Sorry for the late notice, but I just got confirmation early this morning.

Ferg?!?

Sorry I'm in Michigan right now at my bro's house getting ready for my sister's wedding that day. Have fun without me guys. BTW Michigan weather sucks!! Now I remember why I moved to CO. Have not seen the sun since I got here on Wed. Any of your MI teeners close to Grand Rapids?? I'm in Jenison and Caledonia till Sunday and miss my car, would love to see and meet some MI teeners. Ferg.

Scott, hope all goes well...
I would still like to go to mathews again some day...
maybe 2 trips in one summer are too much... but I'd still like to see it again, and maybe all the people that miss it this weekend (my father) would come to the 2nd option.?

good weekend to all.
brant

p.s. Mike F. I'm going to sneak over to your house tonight and grab the white car and go do hotlaps at SCR while your gone... Just thought I'd tell you so you didn't have to wonder what all of those little black rubber spots were on the hood when you get back.

I'll talk to them Saturday and see if I can arrange another showing. Maybe I'll pitch a PCA get-together.
