I am trying to find a rear view mirror for a 99-2003 Mercedes SLK 230 or 320. It's tiny and oval. I need the base too

I've looked at all of the parts warehouses (WorldPac system) and they don't carry them. I've tried Drivewerks... Performance Products... E-bay.

I am looking for a mirror replacement for the Elise. The Elise is some HUGE GM part that is way too big.

Someone is coming up with a replacement mirror, but I think it's gonna be over $100.00.

I need something small (4" to 6"), oval, black in color, with the the associated stalk and mounting base. And something either NEW or in excellent condition..

Mom's got an SLK 320... I guess I could steal hers...

I know the Mercedes dealer is going to be $$$$$$

Any ideas of sources to look for something?

Qball (Yeah, I see you over there. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) ),
Have you tried calling a wrecking yard? Most of them are on a national network and can find the part in other yards and have it shipped. I'm sure you can find one this way. They will have a standard price for the piece and then add a small charge.

ps - So, did you remove the sun visors yet?
