I ended up with a surplus rear bumper during my restoration.
Bumper was straight before any work began. There was some rust under both bumperettes and on the back side. Bumper was stripped down to bare metal. Holes for the bumperettes were welded shut. I'm no Scotty B, so a skim coat of filler was applied over the welds. Backside was Ospho'd and shot with two coats of semi-gloss black. On the front, rust was treated with Ospho, shot with two coats of primer, then finished with two coats of semi gloss black. Complete with license plate hardware shown & plug for the tow hook. It turned out very nice. Plug & play painted rear bumper. $200 OBO plus shipping of your choice. |
