Yeah, at $22,500 you'll need a lot of pictures and documentation on that mileage.

Something is awry...hopefully just a typo. No factory 1.8L in 1973.

Deceptions and lies!
That chart is calendar year, not model year. 3903 1.8Ls produced in late calendar year 1973, means the beginning of the 1974 model year. |

Amazing how many people come across these extreme super low mileage cars...... Could be true, but unless there is serious documentation to support only 13,500 miles it is likely 113,500 or 213,500, etc.
As hard as members look these cars they always seem to land in the hands of non-members. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

Was it this one? Sure looks like it. Can't be two of them with same mileage, a/c, color, etc... http://www.ebay.com/itm/272092008062?euid=...exe=exe,ext=ext |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I've noticed this in lots of collector cars, makes me wonder how many have had the od "adjusted".They showed a dealer/crook on the show 60 minutes 20 or so years ago bragging how he adjusted the mileage all the time on his used cars. |

Doesn't have to be a crook. Speedos go bad. Cheaper to throw in a used one than send out the original for repair. |

Bridgewater, NJ ? Remember about a year (?) or so ago.... A guy was selling a restored metallic green 914 6 ? He also mentioned two other sixes that were available ? One was silver. He was very evasive about showing the cars. Massive claims including the car had been owned by well known American rally legend. 13,000 mi. survivor....estate sale .... hmmmm.... George S. ? |
