Just fopund this on http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1101977...ding-550-spyder
Famous Porsche enthusiast Jerry Seinfeld has decided it’s time to sell some of his cars. A selection from his sizable collection will be going up for auction at the Gooding & Company event taking place March 11 at the 2016 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. It’s thought the number of cars being sold represents about 10 percent of the comedian’s collection. The full list of cars is still being kept a secret but three have been identified. They include a blue 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder, a green 1958 Porsche 356 A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster and a yellow 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR. Similar to the model James Dean died in six decades ago, the tiny sports car is one of the most sought-after classic Porsches so it’s little wonder that pre-auction estimates for Seinfeld’s car range from $5 million to $6 million. This one still has its original paint and interior trim. The 356 is expected to fetch as much as $2 million. Just 151 examples of this particular model were built, and only 13 of these featured the same Auratium green hue found on Seinfeld’s car. The 911, meanwhile, has a top-range estimate of $1.5 million. “I’ve never bought a car as an investment,” Seinfeld said of his collection. “I don’t really even think of myself as a collector. I just love cars. And I still love these cars. But it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have.” Note, Seinfeld isn’t only into classic Porsches. Back in 2014 he was spotted cruising around Malibu in the 918 Spyder. |

Maybe I just like 'cheap' cars, but I'd want to have the Revson IROC 911 out of that group of three.
