I came across "Bee Jay" six conversion write up. Unfortunately ended
in misfortune of fire. Was wondering how he made out? It was looking to be a terrific car. My search is not turning anything up. |

His story made me feel sick ! I'm now paranoid about my car burning down (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) I can not even start to imagine what you'd go through.... I hope he still got the car and finds the strength ( and $$) to rebuild it.. |

If I remember correctly the problem was the fuel pump. He had a high pressure FI fuel pump that caused a fuel line to push off a hose barb.

Last time BeeJay was on was last July.
Last time RiqueMar was on was last October. Life gets busy, many of our friends here are MIA we can only hope for the best and wish them well. |

That's so true Mark.
Didn't realize BeeJay had the FI pump pushing the fuel to the carbs. Dang it! I'll be paying extra attention to the fuel set up on mine for the carbs. I hope he made out well. Cheers all |

Cheers all Using the FI pump for carbs has always made me a bit squeamish, it definitely needs a return circuit if you try. I'm thinking of building in a return circuit and I have a low pressure pump. I almost lost my car to a bad hose (when a /4), lucky that it was on the low pressure side, I smelt it and shut it down. Scary poop. |
