Found this while searching for 5 lug steel rims, I love the look of these. It appears that they offered a 944 steel rim which looks like these. |

They are so heavy, I also like the look but double the weight.
I have a few laying around. They seem to be quite popular with the R-Group 911 guys. 914-6 came with them as the standard wheel (with caps) and even chrome. |

914-6 came with them as the standard wheel (with caps) and even chrome. I think it is a great look for a stock 914/6. Probably because it is rarely seen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I'll keep my Mahles, but still the look is nice, and I have the original set, but not the original hub caps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Some one decided they liked the Fuch look, and in the 70s some one produced a hub cap that looked like a Fuch (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

[/quote] No idea, never tried them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I run 914 steelies on my Ghia the 5.5 are 1" bigger than the 4.5s that came stock, they fit perfectly, and allowed me to run 195s all around. Never thought about putting them on the Ghia. On my 914-4 I ran Fuchs, then Mini-lights, then Cookies, Fuchs, Gas Burners, Centerlines, and now BBS Carrera 10 spokes. Never thought about trying them on anything but the -6, and I only know that they fit the -6 because thats what was on it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif) If I can find them I'll post a pic, |
