Thanks, Greg. My center vent is crumbling to dust. I saw the engine lid rubber buffer at 914rubber.com, but they don't list the metal bracket. I had one bracket in my tool box for 30 years, knew it came off my car...but didn't know from where??? Recently saw the part in a 914World Guess This Part thread. Now that I know what it is, got to have two before I reinstall the rain tray (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I sold 2 of the brackets a couple of months ago. Control arm brackets going out in the morning, be there Thursday.
