I dismantled my front end for new bushings and calipers. I'm putting it back together and cannot remember which way the brake disk backing plates go on. I should have taken a picture. The rears have the concave surface facing out with the lip of the plate covering the lip of the disc.
I did some searching on the originality forum and the fronts look to be opposite, with the convex surface facing out although it's hard to tell from the pictures and from the Haynes book.
This car is a '74.
Can someone help?
Thanks,
Jack
