I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but a solid driver for under $5K is going to be difficult. I missed out on one that was just over 5K last September, but have yet to see another.

Good Luck.

Then I saw this...

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/5437172064.html

Says it has some rust issues, so one would need a lot of pictures of the trouble areas.

Seen this car numerous times at outings. Nice driver, well worth the asking price... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That car is for sale here in the classifieds. Larmo63 is the seller.

I have a 1974 that I've had since 2011. I drive it daily to work in the warmer weather. It has some rust of coarse as it is a 914 in the northeast. I don't have any detailed photo's of the car but can take some during the week if you are interested. I'd like to get $4000 for the car. I had the engine apart in 2011 and put in a new cam and lifters. The originals were quite worn. I still have the one I removed. It does need some work but it runs well. The attached photo is when the car was first painted in 2012.
